  39. This is true for most broadcast stations and network affiliates, but local
  40. cable company ads are notorious for airing local cable produced spots with
  41. illegal levels.  High chroma and especially high luma will cause audio
  42. buzzing.  Time Warner is the owner of our local cable company and probably
  43. 30% of their spots are bad (contentwise as well ;)  ).  If it was a local
  44. spot (cable produced) and really bright (luma) as you said, it probably was
  45. illegal levels.
